Good manager is not busy all the time
🐝 Being constantly busy is not a characteristic of a good manager.
When you sit down and watch your teams moving on, it's easy to experience imposter syndrome.
But one of your duties is to be available when people need you.
They need to be able to approach you with any problem they have. They cannot feel you are too busy with *important* stuff, so they shouldn't bother you.
Your job is supporting them, giving them context, correcting the course, and listening actively.
You need to help them accomplish their goals (because their goals are yours!).
Sometimes it's about shaping long-term strategies, and sometimes about making a quick call when someone needs to be heard.
